Army jawan from Assam martyred along LOC in ceasefire violation by Pakistan

Nov. 14: Hardhan Chandra Roy, an army jawan from Phutukibari-Medhipara under Sapatgram police station in lower Assam’s Dhubri district was martyred while on duty along the Line of Control (LOC) in ceasefire violations by the Pakistani troops in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

The incident took place on Friday in various parts of Uri, Keran sector of Kupwara district and Izmarg in Gurez sector of Bandipora district in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army also retaliated and atleast 8 soldiers of Pakistan were killed while injuring many others.
