Yoga Awareness Program at Rajabazar Netaji Subhash Chandra Residential School by Silchar Niramaya

Way2barak, September 18 : Silchar Niramaya School of Yoga Education conducted a yoga awareness program at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Residential School under the Rajabazar Education Block of Cachar on Wednesday. The event was held as part of Niramaya’s ‘Yoga Chetna Abhiyan’ (Yoga Awareness Campaign).
From Niramaya, Director Shatakshi Bhattacharjee and guide Tulana Das Purkayastha trained the students on various aspects of yoga education. They emphasized the importance of regular yoga practice. School Superintendent Bishwajit Nath, Niramaya’s Chief Convenor Rahul Chakraborty, member Nirupam Das Purkayastha, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, participated in the program enthusiastically.
On this day, Niramaya also presented a memento, a certificate, and the small booklet “Glimpses of Niramaya” to the Residential School’s Superintendent, Bishwajit Nath.
Residential School Superintendent Bishwajit Nath stated that yoga education is very important now. He mentioned that this education is no longer limited to keeping the body and mind healthy; today, it is also a significant source of employment. Therefore, he added, it goes without saying that students will benefit immensely if they make this education a daily companion from childhood. He also highlighted that Niramaya’s initiative for the all-round development of students is very much essential for the present time.
Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, Director Niramaya advised every student to practice yoga for 30 minutes daily and administered a pledge.
