910 found Covid +ve in Assam, 7230 discharged & 20 deaths registered on Sunday

Jan. 30: On Sunday, out of 13,100 tests, 910 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,14,595. The positivity rate in the state is 6.95 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 357 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 20 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,442. The recovery rate is 95.77 percent. Also, 7,230 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 22,448 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 2,294 persons tested positive in Assam and 22 deaths were registered.
