ASSAM RIFLES SEIZES HEROIN WORTH ₹4.65 CRORES IN CACHAR

way2barak, 11 NOV : Based on specific intelligence on trafficking of drugs, Assam Rifles launched a joint operation with Cachar Police. The operation led to recovery of 50 soap cases of heroin worth ₹4.65 Crores near Jhujang Pahar on 11 Nov 2025.

Assam Rifles has been at the forefront of anti-drug operations in the region, conducting regular operations to disrupt and dismantle narcotics networks.

 This seizure is a significant milestone in the effort to combat drug trafficking.
