Zila Sainik Board calls on ex-servicemen and widows to register without delay

way2barak July, 18 — In a significant appeal to the defence community of Cachar district, the Zila Sainik Board, Cachar has urged all Ex-Servicemen and widows of Ex-Servicemen from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, who are yet to register themselves, to come forward and complete the formalities at the earliest. The Board has requested them to visit the Sainik Bhawan, Silchar on any working day, bringing along essential documents including Discharge Book, PPO, Aadhar Card, Bank Pass Book, PAN Card, two passport-size and two stamp-size photographs, and their personal mobile phone for registration and data updating. The initiative aims to ensure that all entitled personnel and their families are properly documented and can avail themselves of the benefits and services extended to them. The Board has emphasized the importance of timely registration for seamless access to welfare schemes, expressing hope that the community will respond promptly to this call.
