76 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 10 discharged

May 16: Hailakandi registered 76 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 76 positive cases detected on Sunday, 69 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 07 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 706 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,158 RAT tests and 28 RT-PCR tests were done. 10 patients were discharged during the day from Civil Hospital. It needs mention here that 112 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 4,497.
