Compulsory RAT for all attending OPD patients in Cachar: Jt Director of Health

Sept. 30: As per the instruction given by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and subsequent decision taken in DCC meeting under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Cachar. Silchar, all Govt. Hospitals will have to conduct Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for all patients who will be attending OPD. The SDM&HO, all BPHC were asked to direct all the peripheral Govt Hospitals to follow the instruction. The letter issued by the Joint Director of Health Services, Cachar on 30 September further directed the Principal cum Chief Superintendent of SMCH, Superintendent of SM Dev Civil Hospital, SDM&HO of all BHPC and Medical Officer i/c of Urban PHC to start RAT by 1 October, 2020.
