33 tests +ve in Assam on Monday, 16 patients discharged; 1 death registered
Active cases 284 in the state
March 1: On Monday, out of 14,733 tests, 33 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,17,570. The positivity rate in the state is 0.22 percent. At present, there are 284 active cases in the state.
On Monday, 16 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,14,846 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 98.75%.
Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1093.
