DYPS’ Workshop at Malugram Saraswati Vidya Niketan by Niramaya
Over 100 Programs in the "Yoga Chetana Mohotsav"

Way2barak, April 30 : A workshop titled “Daily Yoga Practices for Students (DYPS)” was organized at Malugram Saraswati Vidya Niketan in Silchar. The event was conducted by Niramaya School of Yoga, Silchar. Held on Wednesday, the session was a part of the ongoing “Yoga Chetana Mohotsav” organized by Niramaya.
The program commenced in the school auditorium with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp in front of portraits of Bharat Mata and Goddess Saraswati. Students and teachers chanted Vedic mantras during the inauguration.
The legacy persons, master trainer, and other resource persons from Niramaya were warmly welcomed with sandalwood tilak and ceremonial scarves. The second phase of the program consisted of the actual workshop. Various age-appropriate yoga practices were taught to the students.

Trainers emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily routines and demonstrated simple ways to make yoga a part of everyday life. Niramaya’s legacy person and lead coordinator also guided how the school’s teachers could help students maintain consistent practice.
The workshop concluded with group meditation and a pledge on the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” School management committee secretary Krishna Das, acting head teacher Rupali Dutta, and other teaching and non-teaching staff actively supported the successful execution of the program.
In a statement, Niramaya mentioned that the institution is accredited by the Yoga Certification Board under the Government of India and the Indian Yoga Association. It also holds lineage recognition from the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science and Research.
As a result, the institution regularly conducts yoga awareness and educational programs. It is noteworthy that, as part of the 11th International Day of Yoga celebration, the “Yoga Awareness Festival” commenced on March 8 this year and will conclude on June 21. Niramaya has committed to organizing over 100 yoga-related programs during this period, including awareness events, workshops, and special sessions.
