None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Sunday

Nov. 7: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Sunday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 05 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 72 RAT tests and 16 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,917 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,485 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 774 persons were vaccinated on Sunday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Sunday. The district has currently 07 active COVID cases, while 04 patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Sunday. 329 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 01 person was detected positive in Karimganj on Tuesday.
