270 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 9 deaths registered

Sept. 17: On Friday, out of 55,049 tests, 270 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,97,344. The positivity rate in the state is 0.49 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 90 positive cases during the day. Further, on Friday, 09 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,788. The recovery rate is 98.17 percent.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 468 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.
