23 more tests +ve in Assam, state total rises to 666

May 26: Another 23 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Assam. Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 11 PM on Tuesday tweeted that out of the 23 positive cases, 21 are from kamrup Metro and 1 each from Nagaon & Darrang district. With the news cases, the number of active COVID19 cases registered in Assam has increased to 666. However, the number of active cases in Assam stands at 597. On Tuesday, till the filing of the report at 11.10 PM, 118 cases were reported since morning.
