Assam registers 4 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Monday, toll reaches 947

Nov. 9: On Monday, Assam registered another 04 deaths due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 947. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 04 deceased were identified as:

• Madan Kumar Chetri (60) of Kamrup Metro
• Naradev Mahanta (75) of Nagaon
• Alpana Roy (42) of Goalpara
• Hemanta Kumar Das (65) of Barpeta
