Assam registers 4 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Monday, toll reaches 1024

Dec. 22: On Tuesday, four more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 1024. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The deceased were identified as:

• Upen Bora (74) of Jorhat
• Anjali Das (65) of Biswanath
• Ashok Kumar Das (59) of Goalpara
• Pushpa Devi Dudheria (84) of Sonitpur
