ABVP Silchar Unit starts sanitisation of educational institutions

April 25: In the wake of the second wave of coronavirus, the number of positive cases are increasing by leaps and bounds. To prevent from getting contaminated by this deadly virus, Covid appropriate behaviour needs to be followed by all. Also, the surroundings ought to be sanitised off and on. Keeping this aspect in mind, Silchar Unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) dedicated themselves in sanitising educational institutions in Silchar.

On Sunday, the members of Silchar Unit of ABVP sanitised the campus and classrooms of GC College & Radhamadhab College. Informing this, the office bearers of ABVP stated that they would be sanitising the rest of the colleges in Silchar on Monday. They also have plans of sanitising banks, offices, bus stands, railway stations etc. in the coming days.

Further, ABVP would also start Help Desks in the Vaccination Centres wherein they would provide drinking water, masks and sanitiser. Apart from this, they will also organise various awareness camps on Covid-19.
