1.357 kgs of Morphine recovered, 3 arrested in Kachudaram

way2barak, Jan 10: Based on source input, an anti-narcotics ops was conducted at Kachudaram Pt-IV, Ganguli area under Silchar PS, which led to the recovery of 1.357 kgs of Morphine from the possession of the accused persons.

Three persons were apprehended in this regard, namely:

1. Ruhul Alom Laskar, aged 41 years, S/O Lt. Rajim Uddin Laskar, Vill–Baskandi, PS–Lakhipur, Dist.–Cachar.

2. Moinul Haque Laskar, aged 53 years, S/O Lt. Babur Ali Laskar, Vill–Kachudaram Pt-IV, PS–Kachudaram.

3. Sirajul Hoque, aged 36 years, S/O Asir Ali, Vill–Siripar Pt-I, PS–Lakhipur.

Partha Pratim Das SP Cachar informs that legal action has been initiated to ascertain the forward and backward linkages.
