1 in ventilator, 2 in oxygen support at SMCH on Saturday

Feb. 12: There has been a gradual decline in the number of daily positive cases in Cachar district. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 11 February to 5 PM on 12 February) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Saturday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 12 February, there were 02 Covid-19 active patient at Silchar Medical College. In the last 24 hours, no Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and none were discharged. 01 patient was detected positive in RAT at SMCH and 01 found positive in RTPCR on Saturday. Two of them detected positive on Saturday opted for home isolation.
