Gunotsav 2022 postponed in Cachar

May 27: In view of the present flood situation in Cachar, Gunotsav has been postponed in the district. Gunotsav 2022 Phase III Round 3 was supposed to be held in Cachar from 1 June to 4 June. However, as many of the areas in the district are still submerged and refugees are also there in many of the schools, Gunotsav has been cancelled in Cachar.

Informing this, Executive Director of Samagra Shiksha, Assam on 27 May, 2022 in a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar and Principal Secretary, NCHAC, Haflong, Dima Hasao stated, “I am directed to inform you that as per direction of the Government, the Gunotsav, 2022 (Phase-III) scheduled to be held in your district is postponed.” It was further informed that the next date will be communicated soon.
