Principal Secretary of Women & Child Development, Assam visits Ujjawala Shelter Home at Silchar

way2barak, Sept.28: Mukesh Sahu, Principal Secretary of Women and Child Development, Assam along with District Social Welfare Officer, Cachar ,ADC, Social Welfare, Cachar, CDPO, Cachar visited Ujjawala Shelter Home at Silchar on Wednesday.

During the visit, the Principal Secretary appreciated Ujjawala Shelter Home and said, “You are doing good work on the sensitive issues like ‘Women and Child Trafficking’. The employees are also doing impressive work. Further, I would also like to appreciate the process of documentation maintained by you.” He also interacted with all the inmates residing at the Shelter Home.

The Principal Secretary assured full cooperation to the Shelter Home in its future strides.
