Assam registers 2 more COVID-19 deaths, tally reaches 79

July 26: Another two persons died due to COVID-19 in Assam on Sunday. They were identified as Baisakhi Roy (53) from Tinsukia and Birendra Shah (50) from Dibrugarh. Both of them were admitted at Assam Medical College & Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “May God provide enough strength to their families to bear the loss.” With this, the death tally of the state has gone upto 79.
