Webinar on ‘How to Design Life & Career post COVID-19’ organised by deptt of Business Administration of AUS
May 30: In the backdrop of nationwide lockdown augmented by the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, life has come to a standstill. The closure of all educational institutions had also brought academic activities to a halt. However, at present alternative means of academic pursuits have been explored and now webinars have become the order of the day in academic parlours. One such webinar was organised by the Department of Business Administration, Assam University with Passionpreneur and Life Coach, Biprangshu Bhattacharjee on 27 May, 2020.
The webinar entitled ‘How to Design your Life and Career post COVID-19’ was initiated by Dr Deepjyoti Choudhury, Assistant Professor of Department of Business Administration, Assam University. More than 65 students attended the webinar. According to Biprangshu Bhattacharjee, 3P formula can solve all career related problems of youths. Passion-Problem-Profession, the primary objective of the webinar was to give career direction to youth and to answer questions like, “How to set goals?”, “How to design life to achieve self-dreams?”, “How to use sub-conscious mind for achieving self-dreams?”, “How can passion be converted into a earning source?”
Students not only from the Department of Business Administration, but across the globe are facing uncertain times, specially the students in higher education. As the covid crisis and impending lockdown not only impacting their studies and career, but at the same time, cloud of uncertainity also looms large over the job prospects, recruitment scenario etc. The webinar tried to discuss and enumerate how the overall ecomomic impact of covid crisis may not be a threat at individual level. However, at this uncertain times emphasis must be on identifying and exploiting the individual skills and strengths to overcome the issues at ease.
“There will be a lot of problems in several sectors post this lockdown. The bitter truth is that, a lot of people will lose their job. However, you should flip the coin and see the brighter consequences. There is going to be a huge rise in digital platforms. Thus, it will be wise to start investing time on digital learning”, said Biprangshu Bhattacharjee.
