Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ramnagar performs well in Class X board exam
May 7: Students of Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya (VKV), Ramnagar (Silchar) performed well in the Class X Board Examinations, 2019, the results for which was declared on Monday afternoon. A total of 35 students appeared in the Class X Board examination from VKV Ramnagar, out of which all the students successfully cleared the said examination. Six students of the school secured 80 percent and above marks whereas, 32 of them scored above 60 percent. Mritunjay Singha, topped in the school by securing 92.2 percent in aggregate.
The overall pass percentage in CBSE Class X examination 2019 was reported to be 91.10%. The CBSE Class X examinations were held from February 2 to March 29, and more than 18 lakh candidates appeared the examination. Thirteen students have scored 499 out of 500 marks in the CBSE Class X exams. This time, the result was declared within 38 days. Last year CBSE Class X result was declared after 55 days. Once again, Thiruvananthapuram emerged as the best performing region in CBSE Class X examination.
