Murshedul Alam Choudhury Memorial Academy donates ₹ 10,000 to CM’s Relief Fund

September 19: In an exemplary move, the students and staff of Murshedul Alam Choudhury Memorial Academy donated ₹ 10,000 to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The Academy located at Sonai Road, Silchar donated the amount to the CM’s Relief Fund for the flood victims of Assam.

On Thursday, a group of students accompanied their Principal Sahina Mumtaj to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar and handed over the cheque of ₹ 10,000 to Laya Madduri. DC Madduri appreciated the efforts of the students and staff of Murshedul Alam Choudhury Memorial Academy and congratulated them on this noble initiative.

Later on speaking to way2barak, Sahina Mumtaj, Principal of the Academy said, “It is out of the sense of responsibility as true citizens that our Academy has taken this humble initiative. Our students are also very excited to be able to join hands in helping the flood victims.”
