Pranabananda Vidyamandir, Ganganagar and Katlicherra signed MoU with Niramaya
way2barak, October 10: The Niramaya (School of Yoga Education), Silchar, is constantly working to promote traditional and professional Yoga Education. Specifically, Niramaya is implementing various yoga education programs in collaboration with different educational institutions, including the Bharat Sevashram Sangha’s Pranabananda Vidyamandirs (PVM).
As part of this effort, Niramaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Katlicherra Pranabananda Vidyamandir on Thursday. Professor Debajit Dey, the school’s secretary, signed the agreement on behalf of the school. Niramaya officials had already signed an MoU with Ganganagar PVM earlier.
A recent event marking the occasion of both signings was held at the Sevashram Sangha office in Tarapur Malinibil. On behalf of Niramaya, Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhattacharjee, Chairman of Niramaya Yoga Education, and Shekhar Chakraborty, Chairman of the Executive Council and President of the Trust, signed the agreements during these two events.
Among others present were Swami Prajnananda, Vice-President of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha Education Council (Northeast); Gunsindhu Maharaj, in charge of the Silchar Ashram; Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, Director of Niramaya School of Yoga Education and Zonal Head of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA); Amit Endo, Director of Ganganagar PVM; Susmita Deb, Founder of Katlicherra PVM; and Pankaj Bhattacharjee, a member of Niramaya.
Professor Debajit Dey described Niramaya’s various constructive plans for yoga education as timely. Mr. Dey expressed hope that success is certain if everyone works together.
Shekhar Chakraborty, Working President of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha Education Council (Northeast), stated that Niramoy is working to take yoga education to people from all walks of society. There are ample opportunities for financially disadvantaged boys and girls to pursue yoga education. Niramaya’s plan includes provisions for them to not only keep themselves healthy and strong but also to pursue professional courses.
Swami Prajnananda expressed hope that the Niramaya School of Yoga Education, which is recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH and is an IYA Member Institution, will play a key role in this endeavor and that the initiatives taken by Niramaya to increase student interest in various aspects of yoga education will be beneficial.
