CM Sonowal directs officials to speed up registration process of construction workers
Jan. 29: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal attended a meeting of Assam House and other Construction Workers Welfare Council Management Committee in Guwahati on Friday and discussed different aspects of the welfare of the labourers.
The Chief Minister ordered the officials to speed up the registration process of construction workers and to form a committee to cover all construction workers in the process. Moreover, the Chief Minister also directed the officials present to hold the labour fair every year in order to encourage the labourers.
