Train Services Cancelled/Partially Cancelled/Diverted due to Flood (05.08.26)

way2barak, 05th August: In continuation to earlier releases on the subject, on account of disruption of train services due to the incessant heavy rainfall & flood at Simaluguri (SLGR) and adjoining areas in Sibsagar district under Tinsukia Division of NFR, few trains are further cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted in view of passenger safety and operational requirements. The affected train services are as follows:

Diversions of Trains via Dibrugarh – North Lakhimpur – Rangapara North – Rangiya – Guwahati- Rangiya-New Bongaigaon:

Despite the challenging conditions, NFR is working 24X7 for restoration of train services at the flood affected areas to the earliest. Engineering teams led by senior railway officials of division have been working continuously on a war footing to restore and ensure safe railway services in that flood hit areas.
