For pilgrims at Tirupati temple vaccine certificate or RT-PCR report must

Sept. 24: Pilgrims visiting the Lord Venkateshwara temple located at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittor district will now have to produce Covid-19 vaccination certificate or a negative RT-PCR test report mandatory. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the temple stated that the RT-PCR test must be taken by the devotees three days before reporting on the allotted day of the darshan. Chairperson of TTD YV Subba Reddy also said that vaccine certificates of only those pilgrims will be accepted who have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
