CM meets newly appointed Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen, MDs & members of various Govt bodies

Jan. 27: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday met newly-appointed Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen, MDs & members of various Govt bodies, including Women & Youth Commissions, at Janata Bhawan. Elaborating the objective of the meeting, Chief Minister Dr Sarma said, “To further our development agenda, I urged them to bring innovations in making their respective bodies more vibrant & work for the people.”

“I also asked them to make their organisations economically viable & ensure that welfare measures & fruits of governance were enjoyed by all. Political Secretary Jayanta Malla Baruah, State BJP President Bhavesh Kalita, former minister Rajen Gohain were present among others during the meeting.
