Revenue Circle wise Task Force constituted for post flood damage assessment in Karimganj district

May 23: Revenue Circle wise Task Force has been constituted for post flood damage assessment in the district.
An order to this effect was issued here on Saturday by District Magistrate cum Chairman, DDMA, Khageswar Pegu. The task force will consist of the Circle Officer as chairman with Agricultural Development Officer, Assistant Executive Engineer, PHED, Assistant Executive Engineer, Water Resources, Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads), Block Development Officer, Block Veterinary Officer and Extension Officer, Fisheries as members.

The order stated that the task force will physically verify and prepare proposals for rehabilitation grant pertaining to different departments in consultation with field level functionaries and submit the final report to the District Magistrate cum Chairman, DDMA for necessary action.

It may be mentioned that the move to constitute Revenue Circle wise Task Force has been carried out in pursuant to the direction given by the Chief Minister during a video conferencing with all the Deputy Commissioners on May 19 last.
