Rainfall likely to occur in NE region including Assam during 24 to 26 Feb

Feb 24: “Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 24th & 26th February with thunderstorm & lightning activity over the region on 25th February, 2022,” stated India Meteorological Department (IMD) press release issued by it on Wednesday.

The weather department further informed that on 25 February, there will be mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy towards afternoon or evening in Barak Valley including Silchar. The valley is likely to witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or Thunderstorm or dust storm on 26 February. Similar weather condition may persist till 27 February.
