Radhamadhab College beats Cachar College by 2-0 in the inaugural match of football tournament organised by Assam Univ

way2barak, Dec.6: In an exiting match, Radhamadhab College (RMC) defeated Cachar College by 2-0 goals in the inaugural match of the 10th Inter-College Football Tournament 2022-23, organised by Assam University, Silchar in its football field at Dorgakona. The tournament which began on 5 December will end on 10 December, 2022. A total of 12 teams have participated in this knock-out football tournament.

During the 1st half of the match between Radhamadhab College and Cachar College, the former scored the first goal. RMC scored the 2nd goal in the final half. The two goals on behalf of RMC were scored by Hosea Bulngulsan & Rambai Isaac Mizo.

Expressing delight, Principal of Radhamadhab College, Dr Debashish Roy said, “I congratulate all the players of our football team for their good performance. I also express my thanks to our alumni Rajdeep Adhikari for giving coaching to the students. Thanks are also due to Dr Santosh Bora, HoD of Education for accompanying the students.”
