11th foundation day of IHRC observed by its Cachar District Board

Nov. 19: The 11th foundation day of International Human Rights Council (IHRC) was celebrated by its Cachar District Board in a befitting manner. The programme began with unfurling of its organisational flag by Sudip Ghosh, President of Council’s Cachar District Board in the temporary office at Rangirkhari.

This was followed by a discussion session which was conducted by Anoop Dutta, General Secretary of IHRC Cachar Chapter. Council’s Assam State President Dayamay Bardhan, its Disttrict Board Public Relation Officer Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta and Youth President Nikita Banik spoke on different organisational aspects of the  Council, its activities in preserving human rights.

The members of IHRC Cachar District Board also handed over woolen shawls to the poor, needy and destitute keeping in mind the approaching winter season. Council’s Cachar District Board’s Commerce Secretary Partha Sarathi Shome, Sanitization Officer Tapash Hore, Vice Secretary Lucky Das and Joint Secrerary Tapash Saha were also present during the occasion.
