Post-flood, Club Oasis sprays bleaching powder in various parts of Ward No.12

July 10: The recent devastating flood in Silchar has caused immense damage. As the water has receded, there remains ample chance of spread of epidemic. The drains in most areas of the town are still full of water and blocked. In order to prevent any epidemic, Club Oasis on Sunday sprayed bleaching powder in various parts of Ward No. 12 along Public School Road, Silchar.

During the day, the members of Club Oasis launched the drive of spraying bleaching powder on the road side and along the drains at Netaji School Lane, Surendra Chakraborty Lane, Adi Shiv Bari Lane and inside the premises of Shyamananda Ashram. Oasis was ably cooperated by NGO MILAAP. Oasis will continue to spray bleaching powder in other parts of Public School Road on Monday too.

Present on behalf of Club Oasis during the drive were Bireswar Bhattacharjee, Sanju Sinha, Subrata Saha and Tamal Chakraborty.
