Over 40 pilgrims from Assam stranded at Puri, Assam govt makes arrangement to bring them back

May 2: It has been learnt from sources that over 40 pilgrims from Assam who were stranded at Odisha due to the possibility of being hit by a giant cyclonic storm. On Thursday, Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that a special train was arranged to bring back Assam’s stranded pilgrims from Puri. However, more details about the timing of the special train and other details are awaited.
