One arrested with fake currency in Katigorah

way2barak, 4 December: Acting on a reliable source information regarding transportation of Fake Indian currency notes by unknown miscreants and proceeding towards Katigorah from Kalain. A police team from Katigorah rushed to Chowrongee and intercepted one Autorickshaw bearing No. AS 11 DC – 2970 where the miscreant was travelling. During search of the suspected accused person namely Md. Sajib Uddin Mazarbhuiya of Vill – Ganirgram Part 4, PS – Katigorah, 160 Nos. Of FICN 500 Currency Notes were recovered from his possession. Accordingly police team seized the FICN currency notes and apprehended the accused person.

Numal Mahatta SP Cachar informs that further legal action is being initiated.
