Niramaya conducted “Yoga Samabesh” at Bharakhai PM Shri HS, organised by NCC

Way2barak, June 15 : The “Yoga Samabesh” was organised at Bharakhai PM Shri High School by the Silchar “Niramaya” Yoga Shiksha Sansthan. The event was managed by the 3-Assam NCC Battalion of Silchar NCC Group Headquarter. On Sunday, over two hundred students, including NCC cadets, participated in this festival. They practiced various yoga processes such as subtle exercises, Surya Namaskar, age-appropriate pranayama, and meditation. The benefits of these practices, along with discipline and rules, were thoroughly explained to them.

Divya Geetanand and Shatakshi Bhattacharjee served as instructors. Uttam Kumar Singh, Headmaster of Bharakhai High School, Pradeep Kumar Kurmi, President of the School Management Committee, and Pramod Kumar Kurmi, ANO. also participated in this programme.
Headmaster Uttam Kumar Singh stated that such yogotsav organized by Niramaya in association with NCC will make students aware of yoga practice. They will also become informed about the importance of daily, correct yoga practice. He further commented that they would organize more yoga-related programs in collaboration with Niramaya in the future.
Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, Director of Niramaya, also interacted with the students. The participants shared their feelings and experiences. The event concluded with a Vedic prayer.

It’s worth noting that the “Yoga Chetana Mahotsav” including signature events of Ministry of Ayush by Niramaya is being held in preparation for the 11th International Yoga Day, with a commitment to over a hundred programs since March 8th this year. The mahotsav will conclude on June 21st, and the program at Bharakhai School was a part of this ongoing celebration.
