Lions & Leo Club of Silchar Greater in association with BVVBDF organises mini blood donation camp

way2barak, 28 Oct: On the occasion of birthday of Leo Lion Rishab Purkayastha, President of Leo Club of Silchar Greater, Lions and Leo Club of Silchar Greater in association with Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors Forum, Cachar District Committee organised a mini Blood Donation Programme at Cachar Cancer Hospital Blood Bank, Silchar.

Leo, Lion and BVVBDF members in total five brothers of different mothers donated blood for the sisters on the occasion of ‘Bhatri Dwitia’, which was a true symbol of serving humanity. Lion Jhumur Dutta, Prabal Banik, Leo Swarup Jyoti Paul, Leo Rajan Kumar Singh and Leo Amarraj Acharjee donated blood on the day.

Ranjit Kumar Mishra, Lion Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta, Leo Lion Rishab Purkayastha, Leo Lion Soumyajyoti Bhattacharjee, Leo Lion Subha Chakraborty, Leo Tahmina Aktar Laskar, Leo Arjun Paul, Leo Sarwar Ahmed Mazumder, Leo Parnashree Das, Leo Purabi Das, Leo Rajdeep Paul and Leo Bishal Paul were present in this Blood Donation Camp. They volunteered and encouraged the donors on behalf of the organising team. Dr. Sabnam Bahar Barbhuiya, Satarupa Kangshabanik and others staff of Cachar Cancer Hospital Blood Bank were also present during the donation and collected the blood. Certificates were handed over to the donors on behalf of the organisers and the blood bank authority.
