MLA Rajdeep Goala appeals to obey lockdown in letter & spirit
March 28: When the entire world is busy battling the fatal coronavirus, India government also announced a 21-day national lockdown. However, many throughout the country is seen not too serious about the lockdown and rather is found on the streets on one or the other pretext. Many parts of Barak Valley too is witnessing a similar scene. We have perhaps till now not understood the seriousness of the situation. It is in this context that MLA Lakhipur, Rajdeep Goala made an appeal to the people to stay indoors and to venture out.
In this video, MLA Rajdeep Goala has made an fervent appeal to the people at large to obey the nationwide lockdown declared given by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a period of 21 days. He said, “This lockdown was declared to contain the further spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our country. I request all of you with folded hands to stay indoors and not to venture out of your homes.”
MLA Goala also mentioned that during the lockdown phase, people are facing many difficulties, especially the poor, but for our own interest and for the interest of our family, society and country, we will have to obey the government guidelines. He said, “I request all to wash your hands properly, keep your surroundings clean. I repeat once again- Please stay at home, stay safe.”
