MLA Dipayan Chakraborty takes initiative to install spring stand, road divider at Silchar

way2barak, Oct.1: On the occasion of Assam Police Day, MLA Silchar Dipayan Chakraborty on Saturday along with Deputy Commissioner Cachar, Rohan Kumar Jha, Superintendent of Police Numal Mahato and District President, BJP, Bimalendu Roy inaugurated the installation of spring stand, road divider at Silchar.

The initiative to install spring stand, road divider at Silchar was taken by the local MLA for smooth running of vehicles during Durga Puja. Expressing his views, MLA Dipayan Chakraborty said that the town has become much congested. Especially, during the puja or any other occasion, Silchar witnesses traffic jam. In order to discipline the movement of vehicles, this initiative has been taken. The MLA also briefed the details through a press conference where Antu Dutta, Santanu Roy, Biplab Debnath, Dulal Das and Madhumita Sharma were present.
