Mizoram disconnected in Trainline as Restoration Work Continues in Jamira – Bairabi Section

way2barak, 09th September : Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is continuing restoration work on the railway track between Jamira in Assam and Bairabi in Mizoram on the Katakhal-Bairabi section following soil erosion near the track. In view of the ongoing restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train services:

 

Cancellation of Trains:

 Train No. 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 11.09.2026

 Train No. 13126 (Sairang – Kolkata) Express commencing journey on 10.09.2026

 Train No. 15609 (Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 10.09.2026

 Train No. 55667 (Silchar – Bairabi) Express commencing journey on 10.09.2026 & 11.09.2026

 Train No. 55668 (Bairabi – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 11.09.2026 & 12.09.2026

 Train No. 55669 (Silchar – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 11.09.2026

 Train No. 55670 (Sairang – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 12.09.2026

 

Short Origination of Trains:

 Train No. 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 10.09.2026 will be short originated from Hailakandi and will remain cancelled between Sairang and Hailakandi

 Train No. 13126 (Sairang – Kolkata) Express commencing journey on 11.09.2026 will be short originated from Hailakandi and will remain cancelled between Sairang and Hailakandi

 

Short Termination of Trains:

 Train No. 15609 (Guwahati-Sairang) Express commencing journey on 11.09.2026 will be short terminated at Hailakandi and will remain cancelled between Hailakandi and Sairang

 Train No. 13125 (Kolkata-Sairang) Express commencing journey on 09.09.2026 will be short terminated at Hailakandi and will remain cancelled between Hailakandi and Sairang
