Minister Suklabaidya mourns death of MLA Majendra Narzary
May 26: Minister for Environment and Forest, Fisheries and Excise, Parimal Suklabaidya mourned the untimely demise of Gossaigaon MLA, Majendra Narzary.
Narzary, 68, a BPF MLA died at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital due to post COVID-19 complications on Wednesday morning. In a condolence message here on Wednesday, Minister Suklabaidya said that Narzary died in harness when he had so much to contribute towards the development of his constituency and Assam as a whole.

Terming him as an epitome of simplicity and a leader of the masses, Suklabaidya said the void created by his untimely death would be hard to fill. The Minister, while expressing his deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has asked Minister Suklabaidya and Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma to visit the residence of the deceased MLA to pay their last respects to the departed soul on behalf of the state government.
