SMA attends National Convention of AIMA, raises voice for more investment

way2barak, Sept 26 : A delegation of eight members from Silchar Management Association are attending the 50th National Management Convention of All India Management Association (AIMA) on the theme, “Vibrant India : Reimagining the Indian Dream” at Hotel Taj Palace, Delhi on 26th and 27th September . Speakers from across the India’s biggest business houses including Indigo , Tata Steel , Bharat Petroleum, KPMG, Reliance Industries, Jindal Steel, Tata Chemicals have participated in the Convention sharing their thoughts and ideas on topics ranging from entrepreneurship, business, digital economy, leadership to future of Indian economy, business etc. Silchar Management Association (SMA) is the local management association of corporates, professionals, industrialists and managers affiliated under the apex body of management in India, the All India Management Association. The team of delegates representing SMA under the leadership of Vivek Podder  is confident of making use of the insights and expertise received through the convention for the benefits of the youths of Barak Valley through development of professional and managerial excellence. Dr Amit Kr Das, Gen. Secretary of the Association have informed that the Association expects many notable industry figures coming and contributing to the development of the valley in the days to come through the network of AIMA and SMA. Prof Debomalya Ghose, and Debasish Swami have raised many issues concerning the growth and progress of North-East India, specifically Barak Valley and drawn the attention of the business leaders seeking their more participation and initiatives in the region. The two-day Conclave will be concluded on 27th. Debojyoti Swami, Rudra Narayan Gupta, Mukesh Agarwal and Sukanta Paul has participated too in the Convention representing SMA.
