Man returning to Hailakandi from Mumbai quarantined & put under observation at SMCH

March 18: Amid rising incidents of Coronavirus in the country, the government has taken in hand preventive and screening measures on a war footing. In one such incident, a youth who came from Mumbai to Hailakandi with fever and throat pain was rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) on Wednesday.

Sources revealed that the patient was kept under observation in isolation ward at SMCH and was also quarantined. Further details regarding the health status of the person is awaited.

As per latest information, the report of the man turned out to be negative and so he was released from SMCH.
