280 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 240 discharged & 3 deaths registered

Nov. 8: On Monday, out of 46,606 tests, 280 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,12,551. The positivity rate in the state is 0.60 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 139 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 03 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,031. The recovery rate is 98.48 percent. Also, 240 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,939 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 137 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
