Lions Club of Silchar Lioness and YASE distributed food packets at Chencoorie Tea Estate

November 23: Lions Club of Silchar Lioness (LCSL) distributed 200 packets of food (lunch) at Chencoorie Tea Garden on Friday, as a part of ‘Hunger Relief Camp’. The labourers of the tea garden were very happy to avail such facility from the Lioness. The camp was assisted and organised by Youths Against Social Evils (YASE), Chencoorie Gaon Panchayat Committee.

On behalf of LCSL, President  Uma Kar,  Sakhi Bhattacharjee, Rita Chakraborty, Sutopa Choudhury and Sompa Debroy Dhar were present during the occasion. The food items were sponsored by Lioness Sompa Debroy Dhar. On behalf of YASE, Sanjeev Roy (President, YASE Central Committee), Fagun Ruhidas, Sadhu Gaur, Prosonno Das and others were present.
