Leo Club of Silchar Greater observed World Disability Day

Dec. 3: Leo Club of Silchar Greater observed World Disability Day on Thursday. “The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away. Although very few people are aware of this day and it would be more acceptable if we rather state them as God’s special child. We the Leo Club of Silchar Greater have spend some wonderful time today at ‘Era Amader’, a home for special disabled children,” said Leo Sweta Roy.

Along with their favorite food and cake, the Leos also helped them learn to make caps and greeting cards for Christmas. It was a fun-filled evening with performance from those special children. Leo Greater also handed over craft materials to them for making cards and caps. “We will be visiting them again on Christmas and will be celebrating together. The kids of ‘Era Amader’ have been very familiar with us as well as close to our hearts since the inception of our club. We are really blessed to have them with us,” said Leo Debosmita Biswas.

During the occasion, Leo Debosmita Biswas, Leo Neha Chakraborty, Leo Sweta Roy, Leo Parnasree Das, Leo Madhumita Nath, Leo Rishab Purkaystha, Leo Rith Bhattacharjee and Leo Advisor Sabyasachi Rudra Gupta were present.
