Leo Club of Silchar distributes tripals & disinfectant spray among among rickshaw pullers

August 17: In a humanitarian move, Leo Club of Silchar distributed tripals & disinfectant spray which consists of an antiseptic liquid and alum among among 20 rickshaw pullers of Silchar town. Apart from this, they have also provided them with an extra 200 ml of the concentrated mixture of the disinfectant so that they can use this in the future as well.

Speaking to way2barak, Public Relation Officer (PRO) of Leo Club of Silchar, Leo Shreshta Paul said, “The ongoing pandemic has brought a lot of misfortune for many people, especially the daily wage earners. Prevention and precaution are two most important measures which would save people from the grip of novel coronavirus. However, it is not always possible for the poor people to purchase sanitisers and all other such related things. As such, we have undertaken this venture as per our capability.”
