Interaction held between Congress leaders & Hiren Gohain-led Forum against Citizenship Bill

January 27: In an important development, the top Congress leaders met with noted Assamese intellectual Dr. Hiren Gohain led Forum Against Citizenship Act Amendment Bill on Saturday. APCC President Ripun Bora on Saturday stated on his Twitter handle the highlights of this meeting along with photographs.

Dr. Gohain was accompanied by the Convenor of the Forum Against Citizenship Act Amendment Bill Manjit Mahanta, Editor of Amar Asom Prasanta Rajguru, Haidar Hussain, Santanu Borthakur among others. Whereas, the Congress was represented by AICC General Secretary in-charge of Assam Harish Rawat, APCC President Ripun Bora, former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, Congress Legislative Party (CLP) Leader Debabrata Saikia and others.
