Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta promoted as Zone Chairperson in Lions Cabinet of Dist 322G

August 1: Lions Club is the synonym of social responsibility and humanism. In its organisational aspect, , Lions Club of Silchar Greater observed its installation ceremony on 29 July in zoom virtual platform. The Installation officer was Vice District Governor 1 Lion Subhankar Sen. The immediate past president Lion Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta handed over the charge to the newly installed President of the club Anoop Dutta.

It needs mention here that Lion Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta has been promoted as the Zone Chairperson in the Lions cabinet of Dist 322G. The other members of Board of Directors of the club in different positions are Lion Indranil Rudra Gupta-Vice President 1, Ananda Ghosh -Vice President 2, Dr Pinak Mohanta-Vice President 3,
Debraj Dhar- Secretary, Lucky Das- Treasurer and Srideep Kar.

The others are Jhumur Dutta- Director 2, Abhradeep Dey- Service Chairperson, Sudip Paul- Membership Chairperson, Rituparna Rudra Gupta- Communication Chairperson, Moumita Paul Dutta-Tamer, Uttam Dey- Joint Secretary, Rohit Paul-Joint Secretary and Sabyasache Rudra Gupta-Club Administrator.

The Club has initiated and sponsored its youth wing Leo Club of Silchar Greater. On 31 July in zoom virtual platform, Leo District Council President Rishab Bajaj inaugurated the club, inducted the new members and installed its board of directors. Leo Debosmita Biswas has taken the charge as the Charter President of Leo Club of Silchar Greater and Leo Subhajit Das as the Charter Secretary of the Club.

The other installed board of director members are Treasurer Hrithik Deb Choudhury, First Vice President Neha Chakraborty, Second Vice President Dipsikha Mitra,Director 1, Sweta Roy, Director, Abhijit Mahajan, PRO Parnasree Das, Service Director Bishak Deb and Membership Director Aparajita Roy.

Colourful cultural presentations of the new Leo members were highly appreciated by the present Lions and Leo members. Both the installation ceremony of Lions and Leo Club of Silchar Greater, the Chief Guest was Lion MJF Rajkumar Ringania, the District Governor of Lions Dist 322G. Leaders and dignitaries of Lions Cabinet, Leo Council and Barak Valley lions-leo fraternity were present in both the virtual installation ceremony and greeted the newly installed officers of Lions and Leo Club of Silchar Greater.
