Familiarisation Programme: Media delegation of 19 journalists from Bangladesh arrive in Guwahati

July 19: A Media delegation of 19 editors and senior journalists from various organisations of Bangladesh has arrived today in Guwahati. The team led by Chief News Editor, Independent TV of Bangladesh, Ashish Ghosh Saikat will be meeting stakeholders of various organisations during their stay. This exercise is undertaken as part of the Familiarisation Programme organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for Foreign Media.

During the two-day long stay, the team will visit IIT Guwahati, Numaligarh Refinery Limited and Centre for Development and Peace Studies among others. Additional Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Pradeep Brahma along with other officials received the team at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport upon their arrival.
